Dispersive Pipette Extraction Technology

How it Works

This patented solid-phase extraction device is unique from all other SPE devices. The revolutionary INTip chemistry incorporates loosely contained sorbent material within a pipette tip that is mixed with the sample solution.

INTip Chemistry with dSPE Tips

This technology is ideal for bind – wash – elute and cleanup protocols. The disperser helps to perturbate the solution and sorbent during aspirate and dispense steps. This mixing provides a highly efficient interaction of the sorbent with the analyte resulting in ideal analyte recoveries.

DPX offers a variety of sorbents, customized sorbent amounts, and a variety of tip styles for automated, semi-automated and manual format options.

DPX dSPE Tips

DPX dSPE tips are available in a variety of tip styles, volumes and high quality sorbents. Sorbent chemistries can be combined to provide a customized mixed mode product. dSPE tips are available in a variety of tip styles to fit all throughput needs.

DPX μElution Tips

DPX μElution tips provide fast dispersive solid-phase extractions with minimal elution volumes for maximum concentration effects. DPX μElution tips are available with 1-3 mg of sorbent and utilize a unique low-retention frit. This allows for elution volumes as low as 25 μL, thereby eliminating time-consuming solvent evaporation steps.

Dispersive Pipette Extraction + SALLE

DPX WAX-S tips combine dispersive pipette extraction and SALLE (Salting-out Assisted Liquid-Liquid Extraction) for a novel cleanup mechanism. DPX introduces Weak Anion Exchange (WAX) sorbent for additional cleanup. The DPX WAX-S tips house WAX sorbent and the salt necessary for SALLE. This methodology is ideal in applications that require acetonitrile for protein precipitation and are focused on hydrophobic analytes.

How it Works

Tip-on-Tip (ToT) is a patent pending technology that combines a top conductive wide bore pipette tip with a bottom tip for filtration or SPE methods. This extremely versatile technology provides a fast, automated INTip solution for a variety of applications.

ToT Filtration

ToT Filtration methods provide a fast, automated tip-based solution for filtration/centrifugation. This methodology is ideal for high-throughput online protein precipitation and filtration, beta-glucuronidase removal, or any other particulate removal.

ToT Filtration requires a top wide bore conductive tip and a bottom DPX Filtration tip.

ToT SPE

ToT SPE Technology provides a fast, automated INTip solution for a variety of applications including immunoaffinity. ToT SPE is ideal for applications that require specific incubation conditions between sorbent and sample solution.

ToT SPE requires a top wide bore conductive tip and a bottom Filtration SPE Tip. The Filtration SPE tip includes a disperser for optimal dispersive solid phase extraction conditions. This tip has two frit options available.  A low retention 50 μm frit promotes minimal dead volume and optimal flows. This frit is ideal for sorbents greater than 50 μm in size. The 30 μm frit is ideal for sorbents in the 30-50 μm particle size range.
